Every May our nation observes Older American’s Month and this year’s theme is "Engage at Every Age." You are never too old (or too young) to take part in activities that can enrich your physical, mental and emotional well-being. We also celebrate the many ways in which older adults make a difference in our communities.
Participating in activities that promote mental and physical wellness, by offering wisdom and experience to the next generation, or seeking the mentorship of someone with more life experience than you can have a long-lasting effect for people of all ages.
At Parsons Presbyterian Manor, we strive to keep our residents engaged in a variety of different and challenging activities, from reading with some of our local school kids to making homemade trail mix for our residents. Keeping our older Americans involved in meaningful activities can make a difference in their day-to-day lives. We would like for all generations to "Engage at Every Age."
