Experience Parsons Presbyterian Manor
Parsons Presbyterian Manor occupies an attractive 10-acre campus nestled within a cozy residential neighborhood in the northwest part of town. As a not-for-profit continuing care community, Presbyterian Manor offers the flexibility to meet our residents’ needs as they evolve.
Accommodations range from studio apartments to townhomes with garages. Our campus offers an array of amenities including hair salon, library, nondenominational chapel/community room, walking paths, scheduled transportation, and easy access to downtown with a variety of shopping, dining and community cultural venues available.
Parsons Presbyterian Manor maintains a full calendar of resident-focused activities throughout the year, hosted both on and off campus.
Our residents play a role in shaping the lifestyle at Parsons Presbyterian Manor. Residents are represented by members of their respective resident councils from health care, assisted living and independent living. Comprised of any resident who wishes to offer input or voice their opinion, the councils meet monthly to discuss dining services, social activities and other matters that affect the community. The purpose of the resident councils is to provide a means for residents to share ideas, concerns and suggestions with administration and department directors. The council underscores the residents’ responsibility for their own well-being and upholds resident rights.
Our residents are also represented by a dining committee which provides input on menu items, food quality and resident satisfaction.
Since its founding in 1949, our parent company, Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America, has grown to become one of the nation’s top 20 largest non-profit senior living organizations serving more than 2,500 residents in 17 Kansas and Missouri communities.
