Dementia virtual tour, workshop: free at Presbyterian Manor

Caring for someone with memory impairment? Wish you had a window into the world of your loved one with dementia?

Presbyterian Manor and Kindred Hospice are teaming up to provide an interactive workshop where participants will spend 5 to 10 minutes experiencing first-hand what it feels like for someone with memory loss. The individual experiences will be available between 2 and 4 p.m. May 21.

This sensory experience will provide a better understanding of the behaviors and needs of loved ones living with Alzheimer's disease or other memory impairments.

To schedule your personal session, contact Sloan Dwyer at 620-421-1450 or sdwyer@pmma.org by May 10.

The Dementia Virtual Tour and Workshop is part of Presbyterian Manor’s Just Ask series, a free, ongoing lifelong learning program featuring information from local, regional and national experts on topics of interest to older adults and their families.
