Maegen Pegues

Executive Director
Maegen joined Parsons Presbyterian Manor in October 2013. Born and raised in Parsons, she attended Oklahoma State University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management with an emphasis in human resources. Previously, Maegen worked in human resources at Labette Health and Beachner Grain, and in quality improvement at Cytocheck Laboratory. In her spare time, Maegen enjoys attending sporting events, traveling and cooking.

Victoria White

Marketing and Admissions Counselor
Victoria joined Presbyterian Manor in January 2021. She has 14 years experience working in health care in various positions ranging from marketing, sales and fundraising to social services and activities. She’s also worked in behavioral health, insurance billing and coding, office management and community education. She has certifications for social services, activity director and is a certified KanCare liaison. She has a bachelor’s equivalent in corporate venue/event planning and graphic design. Victoria has two children, both boys and she enjoys attending their various activities. She is an avid reader, an animal lover and loves to play softball in the summer.

Kayla Schmidt

Director of Nursing
Kayla joined Presbyterian Manor full-time in September 2018 as health services director. She has worked at the community PRN for two years. She has experience in acute care, the emergency department and surgery. She previously worked at Labette Health for nine years. She started her health care career as a CNA/CMA. She has an associate of applied science degree from Neosho County Community College and an associate of science degree in nursing from Labette Community College. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Pittsburg State University. She is married with one child. She loves spending time with friends and family.

Rachel Schneider

Assisted Living Supervisor/Medical Records
Rachel joined Parsons Presbyterian Manor in April 2019 and was named assisted living supervisor in April 2020. She took on medical records in September 2020. Rache is a licensed practical nurse (LPN). She previously was the executive director and director of nursing at Oswego Home Place for 3 years. Prior to that, she spent 10 years as Home Health Manager for an assisted living in St. Cloud, Minn. In addition to her LPN, she also has an adult home care operator’s license. She’s active in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and is a member of the PTO at St. Patrick’s Catholic School.

Haley Walker

Human Resource Manager
Haley joined Presbyterian Manor in March 2020. She was previously a human resource specialist at ResCare in Parsons for more than four years. She also worked as an office assistant at the KUMC Area Health Education Center. Haley has a bachelor of science degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations and human resources from Pittsburg State University. She enjoys spending time with family, going on walks and camping.

Babette Collins

Social Services Director
Babette joined Parsons Presbyterian Manor in March 2014. She is licensed social worker and has a bachelor of science in social work from Pittsburg State University. She has worked as a mental health case worker for children and as a permanency worker. She has one son and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Becky Nash

Life Enrichment Director
Becky joined Parsons Presbyterian Manor in September 2019. She previously worked at the Farm Talk newspaper for 40 years. She has completed coursework for life enrichment through We Care Online, an online health care career education program, and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. She’s active in the Parsons Elks Auxiliary and the Kansas Elks Hoop Shoot and is a member of the Foursquare Church.

Aaron Barragar

Environmental Services Director
Aaron joined Parsons Presbyterian Manor in February 2020 as environmental services director. He previously worked for USD 506 as an HVAC technician and maintenance worker, and was head of maintenance at Woolworth Enterprises. He has a heating and cooling certificate from Manhattan Area Technical College and has refrigerant certifications.

Ruth Haile

Dining Services Director
Ruth was named dining services director in May 2016. She has 30 years of experience in dining services for senior living as a certified dietary manager and a certified food protection professional. She also has worked as a certified nurse aide. She has volunteered with the Girl Scouts and as a coach in the Babe Ruth Baseball and girls’ softball league.

Nicohle Bushnell

Administrative Assistant
Nicohle joined Presbyterian Manor in August 2018. She previously worked for Neosho County Community College teaching the adult education (GED) classes for six years. She has a bachelor of science in family and consumer sciences in early childhood development and a minor in psychology from Pittsburg State University. She enjoys spending time with her two children and their two dogs.
