Cyber Café events to focus on cyber safety, Facebook for seniors
Parsons Presbyterian Manor will host two free cyber café events for seniors focusing on cyber safety and using the Facebook app.
“Be Social, Be Safe, Online Safety” will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. September 17 at Parsons Presbyterian Manor, 3501 Dirr Ave. Learn practical tools for cyber safety and controlling your privacy risks on popular site and phone apps at this free event. Brunch will be served.
“Facebook 101” will begin at 2 p.m. September 24 at Presbyterian Manor. Learn Facebook basics, explore the Facebook dictionary of descriptions like news feed and wall, and connect with family and friends who you may not have seen in years.
The talks are part of Presbyterian Manor’s Just Ask series, a free, ongoing lifelong learning program featuring information from local, regional and national experts on topics of interest to older adults and their families.
