New assisted living director enjoys travel, caring for others

Kayla Treiber joined the team at Parsons Presbyterian Manor in January as the new assisted living director.

Kayla was a Registered Nurse Case Manager with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, a role she held for six years. She also worked as a director of nursing at another area retirement community.

In her spare time, Kayla loves spending time with her husband and two daughters, especially traveling across the United States and abroad.

“We really enjoy going on cruises with our family and friends,” she said.

Volunteer work is also in the cards for the Treiber family.

“My sister and I are sponsors of the St. Francis CYM Group and we strive to help youth in our parish grow in their spiritual lives,” she shared.

Treiber holds an associate of applied science in nursing from Labette Community College.
